Curves That Soften the Space
Moving away from the conventional angular kitchen island, this design introduces gently rounded ends that create a more fluid and seamless silhouette. Light-toned stone wraps around the island, contrasting beautifully with the richly veined dark stone at its center. The interplay of materials adds depth and character while preserving an elegant, sophisticated aesthetic.
Behind the island, full-height wood cabinetry extends across the wall in warm, understated tones. By minimizing unnecessary visual details, the design allows the island to become the focal point while remaining naturally connected to the surrounding architecture.

Technology, Made Almost Invisible
At the heart of the design is KARTCHEN Invisible Induction, discreetly integrated beneath the stone surface.
Instead of allowing a conventional induction cooktop or visible cooking zones to interrupt the countertop, the technology remains concealed, preserving a clean, spacious, and uninterrupted surface. When cooking is needed, the countertop itself becomes the cooking area. Once finished, the island returns to its refined, seamless appearance.
The functionality is always there—without defining the visual identity of the kitchen.
